Students and members of staff recently embarked on a successful educational trip to Dodoma, the capital city of Tanzania. The visit provided a unique opportunity to combine classroom learning with real-world experiences, broadening participants' knowledge of the country's governance, education, agriculture, and history.
During the trip, the group toured the Parliament Building, where they gained valuable insights into Tanzania's legislative processes and the important role Parliament plays in national development.
The delegation also visited the University of Dodoma (UDOM), one of the country's leading higher learning institutions. Students learned about academic programs, university life, and the opportunities available for pursuing higher education.
Another highlight of the excursion was a visit to the region's renowned grape farms, where participants discovered modern grape cultivation practices and gained a better appreciation of Dodoma's growing agricultural industry.
To complete the educational experience, the group explored several historic sites, enriching their understanding of Tanzania's rich cultural heritage and history.
The trip was both informative and inspiring, leaving students motivated to pursue academic excellence while appreciating the nation's institutions, natural resources, and historical legacy.
